We want you to have a wonderful, relaxing stay, and we’re very happy for the cottage to be enjoyed as your home from home. We just ask that you treat it with the same care and respect you would your own.
-
Stay with the fire — Never leave the wood-burning stove unattended while it’s lit, and make sure it is fully out before leaving the cottage or going to bed.
Clean the grate after use — Once completely cold, please empty the grate and ash pan ready for the next guests.
No smoking or vaping — Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the cottage.
-
Dirty dogs are welcome — muddy cottages aren't! Please clean muddy paws and be respectful of the furniture, beds and surrounding areas. Dogs shouldn't be left unattended in the cottage.
No glitter or confetti — Please don't use glitter, confetti, confetti cannons or similar decorations inside or outside the cottage. They're particularly difficult to clean up and can be harmful to wildlife.
Leave it as you found it — We don't expect you to clean top-to-bottom, but please wash up, put things back where you found them and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
-
No undisclosed guests — The cottage is booked for the number of guests included in your reservation. Please check with us before bringing additional guests or visitors.
Make yourself at home — Please enjoy the cottage and everything around it, whether that's cosy evenings by the fire, muddy walks with the dogs or simply doing absolutely nothing.
Be considerate — Please remember that we're in a beautiful but peaceful setting, so be mindful of neighbours, wildlife and the surrounding area.
